Our holiday: Day 9

Today we are going to watch the surfers surf at J-bay.Once we had stayed there for 30 minutes,we left for Buffalo Bay. We went to one place but it was to far away from the sea.Then we went to another place which was right next to the sea.After setting up our campervan we went down to the Rocks and played there.Then we ate dinner and went to bed.

Our holiday: Day 8

We set off for a 5-6 hour drive to Jeffery's Bay.We stop off in Grahamstown for lunch.Once finished lunch,  we carry on driving for 2 hours.Then we arrive in J-Bay.We stay at a municipality camping site right next to the beach.We all go and play on the beach until dinner.We eat, then go to sleep.

Our holiday: Day 7

We find three dogs wondering around our camping site.We went fishing in the river .Then it becomes to hot for us,so we decide to have a swim in the river.We also discover a huge patch of mud in witch my brother (nicknamed hippopotamus after this) went and covered himself in mud.After fishing(with biltong)  we went back to the campsite and ate dinner then went to bed.That was our last night with Ouma and Oupa.

Our holiday: Day 6

We decide to rent hydro bikes (pedalos) for riding on the river.It  was great ! We went into the marina and came back out .Once we got back to the camping site,we packed up our things and set off once again, this time  we were heading for Yellowsands caravan park.Once we arrive ,we unpack and then go down to the beach.I don't want to get wet, so I try to build a fort stopping the water,but it wasn't working.Anyway we had dinner and then we played cards and after playing cards,went to bed.

Our holiday: Day 5

I have eyes to big for my stomach. I eat half of my cereal  and then order a Hapoor breakfast  wich consisted

• Eggs
• Bacon
• Sausages
• Mushrooms
• Tomatoes
• Chips

 Then we go to the park's shop to get souvenirs .I get a leatherman,Alick gets a lamp and Ben gets a Cheater (soft toy).After spending time packing up,we leave.We all have a driving lesson on the dirt road.We arrive in Port Alfred.We eat lunch,play on the beach and then decide to go to a different beach which is longer.We get sopping wet but luckily we have our campervan with us.It started getting dark so we decided to head on home,back to the campsite,for dinner.  Here are a few pictures of the safari we did yesterday.

Our holiday: Day 4

After breakfast with Ouma and Oupa,we go on a game drive in our house (campervan).The first animal we saw was an zebra followed by an elephant.After a while of driving,we stopped a Jack's picnic site to contemplate the map.Then we went to observatory post write next to a watering hole which was full of elephants.After visiting the observatory post,we went to another watering hole where there weren't any elephants,to have lunch.Then we return for dinner.

Day 3

I wake up at six.I help make tea for Mom and Dad .After that we have breakfast and set off for a walk to the suspension bridge.Then,once come back from the walk,we start driving to Addo Elephant park.We drove for a very long time and finally stopped at a shopping center to buy some lunch.once we arrive at Addo we bump into Ouma and Oupa .They joined us for dinner.

Day 2

Awoken at 0:00 o'clock,by Ben who needed the loo,I thought that I should go to.At 6:30 I think I should check the systems of the camper van.Then Alick tells me that he wants to go outside and he wants to use my flashlight.At 10:30 we leave.After about 2 hours of driving,we stop for lunch.After that we go past George,through Knysna,through Plettenberg Bay and finally arrive at Stormsriver  (Tsitsikamma).We find our site and start making a fire.

Our holiday: Day 1

We went on a holiday in South Africa in a camper van.

Day 1

In the morning we went to see our camper van .The man explains every function of the camper.At noon,we set off for Bontebok National Park.Once in the camper I find out that we have 3 hours until we arrive at our destination.Finally we arrive at reception.We get directions of were to go,find a spot and settle down.I immediately plug in the charger .After we were comfortable in our spot we went fishing.We didn't catch anything.
