The other day we went to a wine farm called Warwick for gramps' birthday. We had a lot of fun there. We had a delicious lunch. They had a fountain and a stream that we swam in. Here is a photo of us in one of their picnic pods :

Monday 31 January

On Monday we had to go back to school. It all went well until we had sport. We go swimming in a public pool that has got moss growing on the sides of it. So when we finished hour 2 HOURS of swimming I find out that I have to go swimming again (in a clean pool). To conclude, I would rate today as a hectic day.

Wednesday

Today we had a very strict teacher who is sometimes quite annoying. Like today, he/she was shouting about there not being any chalk to write on the board when the chalk box was actually write next to him.

Today we went to a wine farm called Hartenberg witch was a really great experience for all of us. If you would like to find Hartenberg on the internet you can go to www.hartenbergestate.com. It should look something like this if you can't access it :










I highly recommend this wine farm and it has a nice short walk across the wetlands.

Our holiday: Day 9

Today we are going to watch the surfers surf at J-bay.Once we had stayed there for 30 minutes,we left for Buffalo Bay. We went to one place but it was to far away from the sea.Then we went to another place which was right next to the sea.After setting up our campervan we went down to the Rocks and played there.Then we ate dinner and went to bed.

Our holiday: Day 8

We set off for a 5-6 hour drive to Jeffery's Bay.We stop off in Grahamstown for lunch.Once finished lunch,  we carry on driving for 2 hours.Then we arrive in J-Bay.We stay at a municipality camping site right next to the beach.We all go and play on the beach until dinner.We eat, then go to sleep.

Our holiday: Day 7

We find three dogs wondering around our camping site.We went fishing in the river .Then it becomes to hot for us,so we decide to have a swim in the river.We also discover a huge patch of mud in witch my brother (nicknamed hippopotamus after this) went and covered himself in mud.After fishing(with biltong)  we went back to the campsite and ate dinner then went to bed.That was our last night with Ouma and Oupa.

Our holiday: Day 6

We decide to rent hydro bikes (pedalos) for riding on the river.It  was great ! We went into the marina and came back out .Once we got back to the camping site,we packed up our things and set off once again, this time  we were heading for Yellowsands caravan park.Once we arrive ,we unpack and then go down to the beach.I don't want to get wet, so I try to build a fort stopping the water,but it wasn't working.Anyway we had dinner and then we played cards and after playing cards,went to bed.
